I just put up pictures of Tori's graduation that are on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxuvf_cv9bk or at Picassa at http://picasaweb.google.com/MarkLeeRobinson/ToriSGraduation?authkey=Gv1sRgCP28_IOz8PuPwQE#
Enjoy!
Mary gave me some good detailed comments about Chapter Three, but mostly she gave me the impetus to look at the overall structure of the chapter. I have rewritten some major parts of it and reordered most of the rest of it.
Mostly I have been working on the web site to accompany the book. It is building as I finish the navigation and I will be making some alterations to the graphic design thanks to LeeRob of The Playground.
The site is at http://JustConflict.com.

I had set as my goal the launch of a new web site for the Center for Creative Conflict Resolution during the month of May. At times it looked like I wasn't going to make it, but I am ready to go public. There are actually five inter-related sites. One is the main site for the Center. The others are for the book, Just Conflict; for the Building Healthy Relationships program, for Parenting Post -Divorce, and for Organizational Consulting. They are not all finished by a long shot, but I have enough of the navigation together to let the public see them and trust that they won't get lost. So the sites are: There is also a site for me personally on Netcipia.
I have been laboring over getting up to speed with Movable Type. There are some things I really like about it and there are some features I can't find or figure out why they aren't there. I spent a week playing with Joomla and so I miss the things Joomla can do easily that are a chore with Movable Type. The big one is that, when one is writing what would be a long page, there is a feature in Joomla which splits the page and inserts pagination so that the links to pages are automatically inserted. If Movable Type can do this, I haven't found it.
Nevertheless, I am up and running and have a site about my new program ready to launch. Actually, the program isn't new, just the promotion. It is called Parenting Post Divorce. You can check out the site here.
Looks like it is going to rain most of the day. The lawn needs attention again, but this time of year that is an every other day job. I have a list of things to do on the building that the City of Clayton requires. They come up with new things every year. I have to get the 990's done (CCCR and LiveFeed) and I have PowerPoint Presentations to pull together for the Habakkuk Project of the Missouri Mid-South Conference and the Next-Steps committee of Pilgrim church. I have a couple of marketing ideas I am going to pursue. It seems psychotherapy is something people see as discretionary spending.
So the list of things I have to do for my book is going to have to wait. I am getting backed up over having my new site up and working. I could just do edits on the existing site but that feels like wasted effort as I am planning a major overhaul with a new back end.
So...I guess I'll do the marketing and then the 990's.
